The 4-inch square is the perfect size for my coffee mug, and the cork base grips the table nicely so it doesn't slide around. The hardboard surface has held up well against condensation, no warping after a week of daily use.

I love that these coasters are exactly 4 inches square—they fit perfectly under my coffee mug without being too small. The cork backing keeps them from sliding around on my desk, which is a nice touch. Simple and cheerful, just what I needed.
